Giovanna Leddy, MD

Giovanna Leddy, MD received her BS in Biology from The College of William and Mary and her MD from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She is an Instructor In Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Director for the Social Justice Pathway for the Internal Medicine residency program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Additionally, she is a 2023 Health Equity Scholar through The Center for Health Equity Education & Advocacy (CHEEA) at Cambridge Health Alliance. Through her practice, she strives to reduce weight bias and stigma and advocates for improved access to and expansion of coverage for obesity care.
