Alison Olsen, PA

Alison is Physician Assistant/Associate with more than 25 years of experience in bariatric surgery and obesity medicine. She has been fortunate to work with inspiring multidisciplinary teams at Tufts-New England Medical Center, NY Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical Center, and currently at New England Weight Management Institute (NEWMI) at HCA-Catholic Medical Center. In addition to her clinical role as PA, she serves as Clinical Program Manager, and MBS Coordinator. She enjoys managing patients pre and post op bariatric surgery as well as medical weight loss. She earned her certificate in advanced education from OMA and is active on the education committee for PAs in Obesity Medicine. Through her practice Alison enjoys collaborating with patients to reach their health goals, including educating and empowering patients to take control of their health in order to improve and manage chronic disease especially obesity. Alison also enjoys running, reading, skiing and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
